Just installed 4.41
Seems to work but no doubt more serious issues will come to bear.

But the minor issues I have found

Select computer option use to work with PC name it does not any more. (local or remote)
Loopback IP works and "localhost" work.
Local IP address does not work.

Second issue is very minor but would be more user friendly.

During the install it requested the close down of the client. (Thats fine) I closed down client manager. retried it then asked me closed internet explorer.

It would be better to prs scan for all applications first and then report them before you retry.

This issues have been noticed on a Server 2003 system and not my MCE2005 client. I am going to investigate that next.

Many issues I previously had with the 4.3x clients are now gone as far as the MCE2005 is concerned.

I might have found the cause of some of the above issues.

When installing the client as a service the remote access switch is off. (OK this fair enough)

But this switch might be better left on for Single shared installs. If it is because security from the internet. Some documentation would be nice. better still an option on the menu to turn on some of core client switchs.

You still need to resolve the local addressing of the host so it does not error. when using the various methods of selection.

Question assuming all the above is function right can the gui client manager on a service running install see the graphics of client.

Not sure if this is a problem but the graphics worked fine on a 4.25 client but dose not on a 4.41 client. lhc does work.

One other Item I noticed.

I have told CPDN not to collect new work it on the face of it appears to work.
But the messages indicate it is trying to collect more work.

THis is wrong I have about 30days work already in the cache. it is set at .1 day (default)
And surely the client program would prevent it trying before it records the attempt in the log.
