With Linux, I think there is a Boinc bug. I have Prediction@home and Seti@home attached, but when Seti starting accepting my results, Prediction@home stopped crunching in favor of Seti, and vice versa:

2005-05-04 05:12:24 [ProteinPredictorAtHome] Scheduler RPC to http://predictor.scripps.edu/predictor_cgi/cgi succeeded
2005-05-04 06:12:22 [SETI@home] Restarting result 25ja05aa.23891.15472.959636.21_0 using setiathome version 4.70
2005-05-04 06:12:22 [ProteinPredictorAtHome] Pausing result h0005A_1_46033_0 (removed from memory)
2005-05-04 07:12:23 [SETI@home] Pausing result 25ja05aa.23891.15472.959636.21_0 (removed from memory)
2005-05-04 07:12:23 [ProteinPredictorAtHome] Restarting result h0005A_1_46033_0 using mfoldB125 version 4.27

Any way I can switch this for one or the other?

Hello,

That's imho the usual behaviour.

I can't say anything about Linux specialties, but the serial crunching of the WUs is running as designed. It will switch every 60min by default, but you can set this value on your general prefeences page.

Running serial as opposed to parallel is somehow better for the crunching (don't ask me why ;)

The switch will be made by Boinc, according to the time share preferences in the project preferences. It will decide who's next at this points:
1. 60 min is over
2. Wu is finished
3. manual or automatic update of the project (Reporting to scheduler)
