Had two machines fall over after producing a Cannot write state file error 109. Has any one else had this. Do you know how to cure it? On one machine I had to detatch and reattatch. Other machine I quit Boinc and restarted, WU gone but now sulking and refusing to download units? Help |

This is due to the fact another program is running in the background and therefore the state file can not be updated at time. This can for example be a scan of an antivirus program. Greetings from Belgium. |

How many people do not have AV sw running? What worries me is if it is boinc causing the crash? This machine was very stable up to last week. Boinc has been running for 2 weeks and it is now crashing? Cannot be certain as have upgraded the fan, but sensor suggests it is now running cooler? Julian |

It will not disturb the function of Boinc and will not have any influence on the outcome of the WU. |
