I have one computer that has been happily crunching away and now has 344 credits. Since that ime (almost 2 weeks ago) there have been ZERO credits applied. I checked and sometimes SETIWEB is loggin that it was contacted as the last contact time was just 12 hours ago (My poor old computer does noe WU in approx 12 hours).

Information about the Computer in Question

The reason for this question is that if i look at the results I cannot see any results with the date of this contact date but in my log i show that WU's were uploaded.

Result for 20ja05ab.24478.13744.378392.209_2

This is one WU SPECIFICALLY I have tracked.

I returned it last night at 4/7/2005 2:47:46 (Local-UTC is 4/7/2005 6:47 [approx])

How can the dang thing not be in my account as being returned? (this is now 5 hours later) I understand that it could be in the validator waiting for validation but this is not the first WU that has not been credited to me. I have probably 1000-1500 WU's that are 'missing' credits and by now my account shows them as being overdue. Here are 2 more from this morning that are not even marked as being returned (I don't care about the credit, I want the dang thing to show that I returned it, we will worry about the credit next)

The only correlation that I can come up with is that around the time my credits stopped I did switch from the MenuBar BOINC to the command line one. I disliked having to be logged into my server to 'do' work. IT is a server and should not need to update the desktop etc the simple reason of BOINC, right? I copied the orking folder fomr my other Mac to this machine. Moved all the work from /Library/Application Support/BOINC to the new folder (~/seti) and it did its thing of resetting the name, the current blocks of work, redownloaded some and started working merrily along..

Any other information anyone requires, I will be more than willing to provide.

I posed this over in Number Crunching so if you want to kepe this together and to see the reponses so far, please go there.

Hi

you can reattach to the project.
But you'll probably get into the same problem with next result due to some bug in part of the software.

I fixed that by using Team MacNN client:

http://members.dslextreme.com/~readerforum/forum_team/boinc.html

Do not use it with MenuBar - not compatible.
If you need instructions how to use it - ask :)
