The server status page says everything is up - but is it? For the past 6 hrs I'm getting 'No Schedulers Responded' The work has uploaded Ok, but no new downloads have been received, although I am requesting work. I'm aware of the load situation re 4.09-4.10-4.09 releases, but this wasn't happening so solidly during the release of 4.10 or the re-release of 4.09. The backlog of both of these cleared in |

It seems everytime they fool around with version changes we have problems for a while . Only this time they change to new version 4.10 and then went back to old version because of some problem with revision . |

Me too, and 35 others with multiple computers getting same thing. We can upload work units, we cannot update project status, we cannot download new work units. Yet server says all is up and running. John Thanks, and Keep on crunchin' John Henry KI4JPL Sevierville TN I started with nothing, and I still have some of it left. |

I guess Berkeley will give us the news soon that the server will be down for repairs. !!! |

It's one of those technical points that sometimes isn't that useful to the end user. Technically, the scheduler machine is probably up and running, as the status reports. The scheduling *services* might be turned off by the project team while they sort out the v4.10 issue, which is why we can't report uploaded WU's or perform other activity. So the server status page is accurate, from a certain point of view! :) |

If it's that kind of task they were doing, it would be nice to announce it before they stop the schedulers. The last outtake with server status "running", was a "lost internet link" ... and it took about two days to fix the problem. Ok, I will wait until the scripts are comming up again ... hopefully. |

BOS is a great tool for answering your scheduler up/down questions. (wow, seems like i'm the only one who's been able to connect to the scheduler lately 0.o) BOINC Wiki Gideontech BOINC team! |

Maybe at long last we have found THE signal, and everyone at Berkeley have passed out from the joy and excitement of it all. :) |

Looks to me like there is a Cogent line problem and if so then it's not a berekley problem. 98SE XP2500+ @ 2.1 GHz Boinc v5.8.8 And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer. |
