I just wanted to report to you all a fairly nice Gaussian signal that I just saw in my last work unit. Feel free to bump down this thread if you want. Here's the signal: Recorded on: Mon Jan 17 00:52:34 2005/2.28 power, 0.464 fit, 4.922 score/3 hr 28' 32" RA, + 18 deg 23' 26" Dec.

Hi Reuben. I posted a response for you about the website over at the Science board. About the log file, I never realy played around with that part of BOINC. Usually, if I happen to see an interesting signal, I just write it down. The BOINC client should have a built-in log file I think, and also some means to transfer signal information to a SETI-specified site.

BOINC has a built in log file for those information/warning/erorr messages. For loging S@H results I suggest you use BoincLogX.

And, BTW, I have detected a couple of gausians with score >6.
Happy crunching,

I haven't been able to get any signal data information from LogX Vid. It just shows the in-progress results.

Hi all, I'm running seti@home map view it keeps a log of everything and sorts it anyway you want plus if you have been running setimon for your classic WU's it will take the old log files and sort them too.

Uh! Sorry, but I forgot to mention: BoincLogX just logs results... To view them you need SetiMapView.

Hope this helps.

Happy crunching,
