First of all sorry for using this forum for this, but, I couldn't find another one, and I dont like subscribing to some forum on the internet.

Ok, now my problem is that my Graphics card is running at 195MHz. And it should be 400MHz, anybody with this problem ??

Thank you!

Well its still 50MHz lower.... and it says 400MHz in memory, not core.

If you look at different makes OF ati based boards you will find that some may run slower or faster and still be a 9550. Who makes your card?

Ok, I've overclocked the memory speed to 220MHz (from 195MHz), tho i cant still get why does it say 400MHz on the website and mine is 195MHz....

195*2 is pretty close to 400, especially where advertisers are concerned.

I think there's the general Problem :

Ever since Double-Data rate (DDR) RAM's were used, manufacturers adapted the "Effective Clockspeed" for advertising purposes.

Since the DDR RAM transfers data on both flanks of the clock signal, the effective Transfer capacity doubles (in theory, involved latencies will always take a certain toll).

So 400MHz DDR or "effective" usually means = 200MHz real

If it only runs at 195MHz, seems you've gotten a 3rd party manufacturer who sells Cards with slightly lower RAM speeds (there are actually alot doing that, they often give their Models special Letters as attachment, e.g. "EZ" like Powercolor, indicating a lower-than normal Clockspeed for Core and/or RAM)

Thanks

Apparently it's possible to flash the video card bios ,much the same way you flash a disk drives bios.Their may be an update that you could use get more clock cycles without using an app.Try checking out some over clocker forums.you can ussually check them out as a guest.
I'll have a look myself and see what I can come up with if your interested.
