Britan tops zombie PC charts by John Leyden Britan has the largest zombie PC population of any country on the planet, according to the latest Symantec Internet Threat Report. The UK has more than a quarter (25.2%) of all bots -- virus-infected, zombie PC's under the control of crackers and used for malicious purposes like identity theft and online fraud - with the US (24.6%) and China (7.8%) in second and third place.... I'm amazed we (USA) don't top the list. > I bet Germany has something to do with all the bots in the UK. > No offense to the Germans but they are famous for having a lot of hackers. > > [Edit] Ah! Just looked at your profile and your from Germany, Sorry Dude! > "Inserting foot in mouth now" :( > Hmm, yea you'd think that we should have more zombies in the states. I just think that our (I'm American) hackers are puttin those bots over there CR, since we have the same langauge as the British. Most mal-hackers like to play around with a victims puter instead of DoSing. Yes indeed, the Germans are very good with our OS's, and they understand English better than folks from other non-English countries I'd say. I stay away from botnets. Too risky. [edited] |

But I think that it's easy to get these kind of tools from the net and from almost any country. I'm not exactly sure, but I think that our gov monitors hack sites closer than other govs do. Heh, yea I live in Germany, but I'll probly come back to the states within a year. |
