i'd just like to say welcome to all the new people on these boards...things are kind of crazy right now...but it's all going to settle down soon...so please be patient if you're just getting started with boinc...this has got to be a rough time to get into this...with the power issues and internet problems of the past few weeks...but i know it's just a matter of a few days before we begin to see what passes for normal around here...so new boincer's and old ones...try to stay as cool as you can while the system sorts itself out...this new boinc system is the gateway to more than seti...once you've got boinc you are also able to help out on other projects too...while generating what i think is the most important statistic...your total boinc credits...credits that you earn from whatever boinc projects you participate in...boinc is a growing universe...in which seti@home is but one of the parts...there is so much more out there now that distributive computing can do...i hope some of you will branch out into to other projects too...like i and so many others have already done...and again...welcome to the boards!

i'd just like to say welcome to all the new people on these boards...things
are kind of crazy right now...but it's all going to settle down soon...so
please be patient if you're just getting started with boinc...this has got to
be a rough time to get into this...with the power issues and internet problems
of the past few weeks...but i know it's just a matter of a few days before we
begin to see what passes for normal around here...so new boincer's and old
ones...try to stay as cool as you can while the system sorts itself out.

this new boinc system is the gateway to more than seti...once you've got boinc you are also able to help out on other projects too...while generating what i
think is the most important statistic...your total boinc credits...credits
that you earn from whatever boinc projects you participate in...boinc is a
growing universe...in which seti@home is but one of the parts...there is so
much more out there now that distributive computing can do...i hope some of
you will branch out into to other projects too...like i and so many others
have already done...and again...welcome to the boards!
