Confirm before connecting to Internet? (matters only if you use a modem)- yes WHY is Boinc then connecting to the internet when he wants without confirmation???? I know I can chose at Boinc program "disable network connection" no what when I am not at computer and I don`t turn it on? And when I turn my computer ON, before I can even chose option "disable network connection" he is already dialing my connection... IF I choose yes at that option in references Boinc SHOULD NOT DO THAT! ANY IDEAS? |

Update to 4.25, it remembers the state of all this settings at the next start. As I'm on DSL flat, I don't really need it, but I also do not like my puter doing too much on it's own, especially talking to strangers ;) So I know, it behaves this way, but I've not set my preferences to it, because when I'm sitting in front, I'm online and don't want some boring questions popping up now and then. This is a known bug in BOINC...but it has had a low priorty to get fixed. Maybe now that some of the more pressing problems are fixed...this will be addressed in a future version. Don |
