I'll be glad when there are more history keeping tools available for the new SETI. A couple of work units ago SETI showed a real nice gaussian but I couldn't get it to stop to look at it closer. It looked like 3 or 4 spikes next to eachother and had a nice fit. No more info on it though :-(

Is it possible to do a screen capture the next time you see something like that?

I wouldn't know the technique necessary but that might give you a freeze frame to study at a later time....

I saw it in screensaver mode. As soon as I would have touched the keyboard it would have been gone.

Hopefully the SETI spy will be running for boinc soon. That would have allowed me to check out any gaussians it would have found.

you can use the print screen button on windows at least - although the screensaver disappears the image is grabbed and can be pasted ;)
