Is there a way to transfer WU's from my classic account to my BOINC account. Also, do I have to reregister for a group. I am one of those competitive people who want to see progress and stats.

No, not if you mean adding them to your BOINC credits. Classic WU's and BOINC credits are two very different things, so they don't mix or transfers. However, your classic WU count will show in your new BOINC account.

Classic WUs and SETI/BOINC WUs are 2 totally different animals. Cannot be done.
