Tell me again why I can't UPLOAD? OK, if there's no work, then I can't get new work, but I have completed WU's any they are not being uploaded even though the Status Page reports scheduler, all transitioners and validate functions are running. This has been happening for about 40 minutes now.

Tom - please be patient.

Thousands of people are trying to do exactly the same just now.

Boinc will back people off exponentially when too many are trying to upload/download at the same time. Because of the extended outage this will probably take quite a while. It will get there. Just try to be patient.
BOINC-Wiki-Thanks Paul

It's not the speed but the quality. Until I get a faster computer.

Thanks Colin,
I have been very patient the last couple of days, when the project has been up only while I'm at work so my home machines get nothing because everything is off by the time I get home. But this morning, despite what the Status Page reported, I tried to upload and moments later everything was reported as Running! But I have been unable to upload for more than two hours now. I'm talking upload small result files, not downloading.

You are talking about why your computers can't "beat through" some work while every other client on the planet is also trying to "beat through" to the same servers.

When Colin said "try to be patient" he meant that some people are getting through, and each time they do the load will go down a little. As the load drops, you're more likely to get work through.

... but, short of making every other client stop, you are in competition with everyone else.

The project has been down for all of us. Hopefully they'll get the UPSes sorted out and it will stay up most of the time over the weekend (if everyone goes home at 5:00 on friday and the building lights are all off there is a good chance the circuit breakers will hold). If they don't, our work will be uploaded and reported when it can.

Waiting is.
