Better not take a public stance against Bush's piratization of Social Security, .....these 'boys' are playing for keeps....

Any grown-up Rethugnants care to defend this?

AARP is accused of not supporting our troops.

AARP is accused of supporting gay marriage.

AARP responds to the Rethugnant smear campaign.

Senior Journal weighs in with their thoughts.

It's frequently said on these pages that some people are just demonizing the present Rethugnant administration. Those who state that most often dismiss the issue involved by invoking the demonization 'defense'. It's expected that the issue has little merit beyond it's shock value in a 'cheap' attempt to 'demonize'.

But you know, the more one reads the who, what, why and when of today's politics, the more one may ask just who demonizes who?

AARP anti-US? AARP a gay agenda? ........ They were the darlings of the Party when they signed on to support Bush's Medicare bill, but since they disagree with Bush's assessment of what protects SSI, now they are an anti-military, gay marriage backing, America hating bunch of senile liberal commies.....

Yeah, ....there's some demonization going on, alright.

OK, you hate Bush.

Based on these clear demonstrations of your bias, anything you say about him or his administration or any action of the government, is suspect.

Then there's your political Thread [7], which should actually be renamed the "I hate Bush" thread.

When it comes to your credibility about our president, you are your own worst enemy.

much simpler to attempt to catagorize me as your average 'evil doer' than to confront evident reality.....

poor tom....

It's hard on him when his heroes don't turn out to be what he hoped for.

As to whether I hate Bush?.......

I don't think that's a fair characterization at all.

I hate what he pretends to stand for while his actions decry his words. I hate his lies, I hate his deviousness.

And I hate to see people blindly support him just because he's in a position of power.

Hell, if he were not in a position of power, he may not be any more unpalateable than you yourself might be, tom.

I never said nor intimated that your were an "evil doer". I have intended all along to show you as being devoid of reason, prone to attacking the person rather than dealing directly with the issues, and in general, a liberal fraud. It doesn't take much on my part to do so (though, your annoying practice of writing from your thesaurus has mercifully come to an end).

devoid of logic?

You interject that I am, in your opinion just a Bush hater, yet nowhere in this post do I attribute the actions of the Swiftie's advisors to be attributable to Bush.

Do you see some connection that needs some more exposure here?

(As to your part? Your part is to play the blind fool and you do it so well... never actually addressing the issue, only trying to debase whoever raises an issue you would rather not have to confront.)

I see no refutation of the facts surrounding our role in torture and the Governments attempts to legalize the same? (But you did comment that I only raise it to demonize something or other.)

Who may be fraudulent? Who said the economy is going along swimmingly?

So now you lie as well. The poster you have included in your third post (#82808) has a picture of Bush. Deny it . . . and you expose your bias even further . . . and you forfeit your right to accuse me of being blind.

Stick to the topic, don't change now to your idiotic rants about government sanctioned torture and the economy. Those require completely separate responses. This is exactly why I said you were devoid of reason (not logic--your logic is flawed but not non-existant).

You saw a satirical poster and that proves I am a liar? hu hu hu....

Like I said tom, I haven't attributed the Swiftie advisors actions smearing AARP to be connected to Bush at all.

You're grasping..... (not to mention gasping)

>>Then there's your political Thread [7], which should actually be renamed the "I hate >>>>>Bush" thread.

Uh oh,...... tom's caught up in his own obsfucations. (stick to the topic?...... tee hee)

Pick your topic, tom...... but try to address evident reality, not your dreams.

That the Swiftboat advisors and their network of dirty tricksters will stoop to the levels they do trying to discredit anyone who disagrees with them is not unlike your own actions.

They, and you, can't defend their/your position with facts, so you resort to misdirection and deviousness.

Have fun in your world tom, it's coming down around your shoulders...... the cows are coming home...... the chickens are returning to the roost. The mighty Wurlitzer is wheezing to a stop.....

Say goodnight.....

Everybody knows they ship you to someplace like Syria now.

Too much liability in Gitmo these days..... rendition is the name of the game now.

(and they're pretty much willing to snatch you up wherever you might be)

Can't you EVER speak plainly? Are you incapable of communicating a thought? What was the point of having your president (duly elected president, I might add) on that poster?

I was right on point, Mister Zimmerman-One-Note. My post pointed out your major rhetorical weakness: that your hatred (extreme dislike, loathing, you pick) of Bush weakens your argument because it exposes your arguments as being biased and not worthy of belief.

> Uh oh,...... tom's caught up in his own obsfucations. (stick to the

Isn't that the laugh of an insane man?

The rest of your post is just nonsensical ranting. As are most of your posts.

well, Mr Koenig,

You're claiming to be right on point is an interesting turn of phrase.....

As before you have not addressed either of the two topics you dance around while only attempting to discredit my own person.

Yep,..... you're 'right on point' alright.... only trouble is your point is irrelevant to the issue. Your point has no bearing whatsoever on the facts.

Your 'point' is weak........ yep, weak.....

Your opinion of my posts is irrelevant to the substance of my posts.....

You don't like that.... it pisses you off. You wish I would 'fall in line'.

Uh uh, tom.... wail about me being illogical, attempt to portray me as insane.

Hell, tom, .....call me an asshole. You've done it before. And just like before I will redouble my efforts to expose what you wish not to confront.

I will post information as I see it.

No amount of your weak attempts to discredit me personally will make a bit of difference.

You see, tom, .....evident reality can't be ignored. You might wish to deny it, but it's always going to come to the fore and someone is always going to keep pointing it out.

Watch for more, tom. I'll be posting regularly.

Say goodnight now, tom.

Answer me, or don't waste my time.

No need, both are self evident.

> before I will redouble my efforts to expose what you wish not to confront.

All you have exposed is your bias. You deny laying this issue at Bush's feet, but you post a picture of him with a chainsaw to cut up Social Security benefits, while the text derides individual accounts. Anyone looking at that post will understand that you are indeed blaming Bush.

> I will post information as I see it.

But, you are clearly blinded by your hatred of your (duly elected, twice)president.

> You see, tom, .....evident reality can't be ignored.

The only evident reality is your extreme viewpoint, unsupported by the facts or reason.

> Watch for more, tom. I'll be posting regularly.

Sometimes it's better than the Comedy Channel, except when it makes me feel pity for you.

P.S. Are you having fun posting to your own thread (Political Thread [7])? You really should rename it the "I Hate Bush" thread, if all you are going to do is bash your president.

The head of one of the main groups funding the PR blitz for President Bush's privatization plan says Social Security should be "phased out" and that the eventual effect of the Bush plan will be phase out.

the whole article

Dick Armey is the head of FreedomWorks. And FreedomWorks is one of the three or four major groups funding and organizing the push for President Bush's privatization plan.

Also, the head of United Seniors Association, and it's shell front USANext, GOP astroturfer Charlie Jarvis plans to keep up his goonish campaign of disinformation against AARP and any and all who try to stand in the way of the president's Social Security phase-out plan.

class act, that USA,Inc

By the way, public pressure has resulted in the removal of the ad shown in the start of this thread. The one that said AARP was an gay marraige supporting, anti-US military group.

Watch for the next Swiftboat like smear tactic assault... these guys have a history that says they'll be at it again....

Charlie Jarvis's smear ad campaign against the AARP runs into a hitch: USA Next is now being sued for $25 million for using photo of gay couple's nuptials without permission.

US District Court judge grants Restraining Order against USANext in AARP smear campaign photo ad theft.

No more ad, and it looks like they will lose their civil suit, look for a big damage award...

Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch, eh?.

"Rethugnant."

Oh, that's clever.

Is it really so wrong of me to want some control of all this money that's being stolen from me on a daily basis?
