sorry i posted this to the wrong board. so here goes again..
Hi I am new to seti bionic. I have looked at my results and click on the computer number and its not mine, does this mean the work unit was completed by someone else??

How do you know its not yours is it the wrong processor? what does it say and what do you expect it to say?

>Paul when i go into my account, I look at results and go to work units, I click on the unit and ones says owner Battignet with details of his pc and credits etc. thank for reply too. Ceri

Each work unit is processed at least 3 times in SETI@Home, though to speed things up they issue the work 4 times right now. So, any work unit will have at least 4 Results created. These results and the work unit that spawned them are downloaded to your comptuer where you process them and return the result.

So, when You look at any one work unit, you will see it has been processed by 4 computers. So, if you look at this Result you will see that it came from this Work Unit and was issued to 5 computers, of which one of which was mine named "EQ-1".
