Message 78496 - Posted: 11 Feb 2005, 20:17:01 UTC

I'm trying to put my stats in my signature. The same way some of you have. But, as you can se, something is not right.
I've created account there and everything is ok on their site (I can see a picture with my stats). But can't put it in my signature on this forum.

Can anyone help me with this?

That code looks about right, assuming that your ID number is correct. Just add the [img src=" "] where less than and greater than replace [] to it and your are set.
Now you should go into your account settings here, into the Forum settings and add that info to your signature section.

Mine looks like:

For yours, it should look something like this:

You need to add it in the signature as:

img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php/userID:553/prj:1/trans:off/.png"

With the appropriate html greater than and less than signs. I am not good enough on HTML to know how to quote the line correctly.

I do not understand the question.

For Simba-OS, all he/she should have to do is copy that line I have on my second to last post into his/her signature field in their account.

When I showed it in the page, I just made the correct image link in the text.

Because the forum "eats" the html tags, I usually make a text file off-line, copy, save the post with the paste, if it is correct and I have to make edits, I can just go back and recopy the text, other wise it is a pain to dal with it ...

ANyway, his tag line seems to be correct ...

Wrong tags. Now it's right. Thanks to all.
And Paul, it's "he". :)

As I used to say in my youth ... he, she, or it; as the case may be. :)

All is well that ends in a well ... a very deep subject ...

Just wanted to let you know. Everything is ok. :)

Hi paul, Don't you mean that you can barely speak ENGLISH.lol or maybe even Americanized English. I'm not familiar or can I find an American dictionary.

Just poking fun.

Tony,

Yeah, no sweat, so was I ...

I have known some people born and raised in England ... so, I know that I don't speak English ...

I've just been reminded of a little test to see if you speak American or English by another thread. ;) Define a billion.

Ah. You use your own language. ;) The American definition (or short form) is 10^9. The English (or long form) is 10^12 (i.e. a million times a million).

Having said that, the American version is now largely accepted throughout the world for official purposes.

Be lucky

Neil

Hi,

I do provide the "Your URLs" page on the All-In-Account which gives you examples of HTML and bbCode.

One these forums you can use either.

I guess this one is addressed to me.
Yes, I've been at "Your URL's" page. But made a mistake using phpBB Code, instead of HTML. Now it's ok. ;)
