The project is back up again. Pretty quickly too! Are we up and running on the new hardware? How are things looking so far? Things are looking pretty fast and responsive on this end. I'm very curious to see how the new server handles the workload and backlog. |

Well, no technical news, no update on hosts runing SETI, I have no idea what's going on <img src="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=d2319b8f0ad14565556d0ba45b64e779"> |

The devices listed in the "server status" are the same old ones... As Dan said, they are still testing... LarryB56 |

As Dan > said, they are still testing... > > The old BOINC database-server, kosh, have never been listed on the status-page and neither is the new one, Opteron, listed. The new have maybe gotten another name now. ;) And, they had an outage earlier today, and have switched to the new database server. |

Hi! >The devices listed in the "server status" are the same old ones... As Dan said, >they are still testing... This is probably last one on "to-do" list. They just did it, it looks ok, but there is still a lot of polishing, minor details, observations etc. Main priority is to have boxes run smothly. For a while they can do fallback to old one, but ... When it calms down, then is the time to update pages, write report, a mail or two and go for a well deserved beer. Tomorrow morning (I am in GMT+1) will be the time to read details, enjoy RAC, maybe they will even managed to get .xml stats on new box. Good luck, happy crunching from #100 Seti cruncher. 73 Iztok |
