I just had to format my hard drive, unfortunately previously downloaded but not completed work units have allso been deleted.. Now i got myself a fresh OS, got new units.. But i can never be able to process the ones that have been deleted.. And they will be shown in my statistics page.. My question is : Is there some way for users to redownload the units that have not been reported, but still have time till deadline? So that way we can process the ones we accidentally erased or so.. And.. will the deadlined results be there forever in our statistics list ?? will they decrease credits or somethin..? Thanks .. Cuneyt |

To my understanding the work units are sent out to 4 people. When 3 of those 4 people complete and upload the completed work units, then credit is given. If the 4th person also turns in the completed work unit they also get credited. The first 3 are the ones that determine the amount of credit however. You would be the 4th person because of your hard drive deleting the work units You never turned your work in. The other 3 people still get the credit but You will not because You never turned in your work units. Nothing will be held against You and You will not be Docked Credit. You will just not recieve credit for the Deleted work units You never turned back in. |

Don't worry about it. Seti is actually sending units out 4 times right off the bat even though they only need 3 results. But even if someone else doesn't finish them, they will get sent out again once the deadlines have expired. The only thing that will affect your credits is the downtime while you were installing the new OS. You can't get negative credits... A member of The Knights Who Say NI!
