if theres a lot of people that hit setiatwork for certain info instead of hitting the Berkeley server, could save some load that way |

That will put a load on Berkeley's server ... they should just use the XML. :-\ Rob |

Plus Berkeley is only showing the first 380 members of a team on their pages so if your team has more than 380 members, the listing will be incomplete. A member of The Knights Who Say NI! For rankings, history graphs and more, check out: My BOINC stats site |

Actually, it is somewhat more complicated than that. You can get further out and you will get additional teams or participants. If you cheat, and change the numbers at the URL line, you can look farther out. I did that to coax out error messages, and went looking for myself in the listings. What I found, and reported, is that you can have a number, 460 for example, that does not work, but 480 will ... I did not get an answer to my post to the mailing list, so I don't know if anyone that is working on the web site software is aware or not ... but I did report the issue ... [edit] Maybe someone else can report it after they try it. Sometimes I get the feeling that if the issues comes from me it get ignored. Then again, just because I am paranoid does not mean that they are not out to get me .... :) |
