Seti classic put u pa web page here with a list of signal candidates and users who helped to find them. I would immagine they will do the same for seti/BOINC once they get enough data. Your client finds "signals" every time it runs. That is what it sends back. Once Berkeley gets it back it goes into their database where they can filter out known sources of EM radiation, obvious interference and test signals. Only after a signal has gone through this process and been detected several times does it become 'interesting'.
